Yemen’s Coast Guard Leadership Engages with South Korean Ambassador

Today, Major General Khaled Ali Mohammed Al-Qamali, head of Yemen’s Coast Guard, met with Kim Young-sam, the South Korean Ambassador to Yemen. The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation in maritime security and bolstering the capabilities of Yemen’s Coast Guard. The meeting also included the presence of advisor and consul from the South Korean embassy, Yoo Seong-jae.

Yemen’s Coast Guard Efforts

During the meeting, Major General Al-Qamali highlighted the key missions and initiatives undertaken by the Coast Guard. These efforts encompass maritime security, anti-smuggling operations, search and rescue missions, and the protection of maritime navigation. Additionally, he addressed the operational and technical needs necessary for the development of the Coast Guard’s capabilities.
