Three members of the Houthi militia were killed or injured today during clashes with the Yemeni army in the Al-Anin front, located in the Jabal Habashi district of Taiz province.
A military source reported to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the fighting erupted when Houthi militants attempted to carry out hostile actions in the Al-Anin sector. The army responded decisively, resulting in casualties among the militia. The remaining militants retreated and fled the area.
The military source emphasized that the army maintains a strong presence and high alert across all its positions. Troops remain prepared to counter any aggressive attempts by the Houthi militia, aiming to thwart their plans to destabilize security and stability in the province.
The ongoing clashes highlight the persistent tensions in Taiz, as the Yemeni army continues to confront Houthi threats. The situation remains dynamic, with the army committed to ensuring the safety of the region.
