During the launch event, Dr. Aatif Haidra, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade for Internal Trade, emphasized the tent’s role in stabilizing the local market. Dr. Haidra reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to fostering partnerships between the public and private sectors.
Mohammed Al-Shadhili, the First Deputy Governor of Aden, highlighted the tent as a community initiative that addresses the growing seasonal demand for food supplies. He noted that such efforts are crucial for meeting the needs of local residents during Ramadan.
Colonel Faris Qasim, the Director of the Yemeni Economic Institution in Aden, announced that this year’s Ramadan tent will provide families with food supplies at discounted prices. He stressed the institution’s annual commitment to organizing the tent, encouraging companies and organizations to offer genuine discounts to citizens.
This initiative not only supports local families but also enhances community engagement during the holy month of Ramadan.
