U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned the recent attacks carried out by Houthi militias, which are supported by the Iranian regime, on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. These attacks resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals and injured hundreds more.
In a post on the platform X, Rubio stated, “The United States strongly condemns the recent attacks by the Houthis on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the assault targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which claimed the lives of several innocent civilians, including an American citizen.”
Rubio emphasized that these attacks demonstrate a blatant disregard for civilian lives. He reiterated the United States’ solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its people, expressing condolences to the families of the victims.
