In a significant meeting held today in the temporary capital of Aden, Dr. Abdul Salam Hamid, Yemen’s Minister of Transport, engaged with Zhao Cheng, the Charge d’Affaires of the People’s Republic of China in Yemen. The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring the benefits of Chinese investments in various transport sectors.

Previous Agreements and Infrastructure Development

The meeting, attended by Captain Ali Al-Sabhi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport for Maritime Affairs and Ports, highlighted previous agreements between Yemen and China. These agreements primarily concern the development of infrastructure in ports, airports, and road networks, as well as ongoing Chinese projects in several liberated provinces.

Urgent Need for Support in Transport Sectors
