He emphasized the importance of transitioning to the second phase of the project, alongside implementing quality interventions that yield quick results.
Local Authority Support and Environmental Concerns
The governor expressed the local authority’s readiness to facilitate the agency’s work. He called for support in the waste management sector and proposed relocating the garbage dump from the Al-Dabab area. This site poses significant health and environmental risks, especially as plans for a waste recycling plant emerge. Shamsan highlighted the agency as one of the most prominent international partners in development and humanitarian efforts.
