Annual Analytical Conference Launched by Taiz Axis Leadership
The Taiz Axis leadership inaugurated its annual analytical conference for the 2024 combat training and operational year on Monday. The event took place in the presence of the governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan.
Governor Shamsan Commends Military Efforts
Governor Nabil Shamsan expressed his greetings to the brave soldiers stationed in areas of honor and valor. He congratulated the Taiz military leadership for the successful training and combat activities throughout 2024. These efforts culminated in the establishment of the Al-Hamadi Martyr Institute for Rehabilitation and Training. Shamsan emphasized that preparation and training are vital for achieving victory and liberation, urging the continuation of these efforts despite ongoing war and siege.
Success of the Conference Highlights Training Achievements
Shamsan noted, “The regularity of this conference and its activities confirms the success of the axis in training and rehabilitation. The leadership of Taiz, along with its community and all its citizens, stands firmly beside the army in the liberation battle against the Houthi terrorist militias.” He added that the local authority’s primary mission is to support the army, expressing complete faith in this noble task. He praised the coordination and collaboration between Taiz Axis and the Al-Baha Axis in various military and security operations.
Challenges and Future Plans Discussed by Taiz Axis Commander
In his remarks, Major General Khalid Fadel, the commander of the Taiz Axis and conference president, thanked the governor for his continuous support of the army. He outlined the challenges faced by the axis over the past year. Fadel stated, “This year has been exceptional, filled with numerous challenges that tested the axis and its members.” He assured attendees that the upcoming year would be more dynamic due to future plans aimed at achieving victory. He also stressed the importance of addressing the needs of the wounded and fallen soldiers while providing ongoing support to fighters.
Comprehensive Training Initiatives Highlighted
Major General Fadel highlighted the extensive training efforts undertaken by the axis during the 2024 training year. He revealed that the axis conducted 271 theoretical, practical, combat, and administrative training courses, successfully qualifying hundreds of officers and soldiers in various military disciplines.
Opening Session Features Documentary and Recognitions
The opening session, attended by the governor’s deputy for defense and security, Major General Abdul Karim Al-Sabri, and the commander of the Al-Baha Axis, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Al-Jabouli, included a documentary showcasing the achievements of the Taiz Axis throughout 2024. The session also recognized outstanding individuals and collaborators who supported the axis.
This conference marks a significant step in reinforcing the capabilities of the Taiz Axis as it continues its commitment to training and operational excellence in the face of ongoing challenges.
