The Supreme Police Council convened today under the leadership of Interior Minister Major General Ibrahim Haidan to outline its action plan for the second half of the year.
During the meeting, Minister Haidan praised the efforts and accomplishments of various security units and agencies in the first half of the year. He emphasized their significant role in enhancing security and stability across the region.
The council also reviewed the progress of the Police Academy, including the admission and registration procedures for the police college. Minister Haidan highlighted the directives from the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, stressing the importance of reopening the Police Academy. This initiative aims to train police personnel in various specialties to strengthen the security forces in the provinces.
Additionally, the council discussed the upcoming promotions for personnel and officers for 2024. They examined the ongoing efforts in human resources management and the issuance of military identification cards for Ministry of Interior staff.
This meeting marks a crucial step in ensuring that the police force remains well-equipped and prepared to address the challenges ahead.
