Military Readiness Assessed in Hadramout
On Sunday, Major General Salem Basloom, the Chief of Staff of the Second Military Region, conducted field visits to the Al-Riyan Brigade and the Military Engineering Division along the Hadramout coast. The purpose of these visits was to evaluate their combat readiness and military discipline.
Commendations for Al-Riyan Brigade
During his visit, Basloom praised the members of the Al-Riyan Brigade, calling them a “model of excellence.” He acknowledged their vital role in maintaining public order during recent events. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of vigilance and teamwork in their operations.
Inspection of Military Engineering Division
Basloom also inspected the operations of the Military Engineering Division. He commended their contributions since the region’s liberation from terrorism in 2016. He described the division as a model unit, highlighting its effectiveness in protecting lives and infrastructure.
