The General Investment Authority has launched two electronic surveys in the temporary capital of Aden, in collaboration with the World Bank Group. These surveys aim to improve Yemen’s investment environment and attract more investments.
The first survey targets current investors in the Yemeni market. It seeks to gather insights on their experiences, evaluate the services and procedures related to investment, and identify the practical challenges they face in their operations.
Conversely, the second survey focuses on potential investors. It aims to explore their perceptions of available investment opportunities and the factors influencing their investment decisions in Yemen.
The General Investment Authority assures participants that their data will remain confidential. The authority will analyze the information collectively for institutional purposes only. This analysis will help develop policies and services, enhance the business environment, and address priority obstacles.
These initiatives reflect the authority’s commitment to fostering a more attractive investment climate in Yemen. By actively engaging with both current and potential investors, the General Investment Authority aims to create a more conducive environment for business growth and development.
