The Prosthetic and Rehabilitation Center in Marib Governorate offered free medical and rehabilitation services to 598 beneficiaries during September. This initiative aims to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and war injuries.
According to the center’s statistics, the total number of services provided reached 2,009 in the fields of prosthetics and rehabilitation. These services enhance the mobility of beneficiaries, increase their independence, and assist them in regaining their daily activities. Furthermore, the center helps individuals integrate into society and improve their quality of life.
The center receives support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. The International Organization for the Care of War and Disaster Victims (Al-Ameen) implements its services in coordination with the Therapeutic Medicine Sector of the Ministry of Public Health and Population. This collaboration aims to strengthen medical rehabilitation services and provide specialized care for individuals with disabilities and war injuries.
The Prosthetic and Rehabilitation Center in Marib is one of four specialized centers in Yemen supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. This program aims to provide prosthetic and rehabilitation services to those in need, helping them overcome mobility challenges and enhance their active participation in social life.
