The Prosthetic and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz Governorate delivered 2,254 free health and rehabilitation services in September. A total of 664 individuals with disabilities and war injuries benefited from these services.
The services included the fitting and maintenance of prosthetic limbs, physical therapy sessions, and specialized outpatient clinic services. These offerings aimed to enhance the mobility independence of beneficiaries and facilitate their integration into society, enabling them to engage in daily activities more effectively.
This initiative received support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. The International Association for the Care of War Victims and Disasters implemented the program in coordination with the Therapeutic Medicine Sector of the Ministry of Public Health and Population. This program focuses on providing specialized rehabilitation care for individuals with disabilities and war injuries in Yemen.
