On Thursday, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, the Prime Minister of Yemen, visited the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the temporary capital, Aden. Additionally, the Prime Minister reviewed the ministry’s efforts in monitoring various commercial and consumer goods.

He received a briefing from acting prosecutor, Judge Soumaya Al-Qabati, regarding the office’s efforts to combat commercial fraud and ensure compliance with specifications and standards for goods and medicines. The prosecutor outlined the collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to address challenges facing the commercial sector.

Following his visits, the Prime Minister held a meeting with the Minister of Industry and Trade and his deputy. They reviewed the ministry’s role in domestic trade, consumer protection, and modernization programs aimed at improving overall performance.
