Turkish Ambassador Bids Farewell to Yemen Amid Strengthening Ties

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak praised the effective efforts of the Turkish Ambassador to Yemen, Mustafa Bulat, during a farewell meeting in the temporary capital, Aden. The Prime Minister highlighted the ambassador’s role in enhancing bilateral relations and opening new avenues for cooperation that benefit both nations and their peoples.

Historical Ties and Future Prospects

During the meeting, Dr. bin Mubarak emphasized the historical relationship between Yemen and Turkey. He expressed a mutual commitment to further develop and strengthen these ties. The Prime Minister acknowledged Turkey’s supportive stance towards Yemen’s constitutional legitimacy and its efforts to restore state authority while addressing the humanitarian crisis caused by the Houthi rebellion.
