The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center has predicted moderate temperatures along coastal areas and nearby regions today, Friday. The weather will remain mostly clear to partly cloudy, with a possibility of fog developing in parts of the southern coast. Winds will be moderate, but they may become strong near Bab al-Mandab and the adjacent areas, as well as along the southern western coast.
According to the daily weather bulletin, which the Yemen News Agency (Saba) received, the mountainous regions will experience dry and cold conditions, particularly during the night and early morning. Fog may form in some areas, and thunderstorms could bring rain to parts of the western and northwestern highlands. In the desert and plateau regions, the weather will generally be dry and clear, with moderate temperatures during the day and relatively cold conditions at night and in the early morning. Winds will remain moderate.

The center has issued a warning to citizens in areas expected to experience thunderstorms. Residents should take necessary precautions to avoid the dangers associated with these storms and refrain from staying in flood-prone areas. Additionally, the center urges individuals in mountainous regions and parts of the southern coast to exercise caution due to fog, which may reduce visibility.
In its daily marine bulletin, the Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center anticipates calm sea conditions along the coasts of Al-Mahrah, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, and the Socotra Archipelago. The sea will be moderate near Bab al-Mandab and occasionally turbulent along the western coasts. In the Arabian Sea, the waters will remain calm, while the Gulf of Aden will experience light to moderate waves. The Red Sea will have moderate conditions that may become turbulent at times. The center warns fishermen and sea-goers in Bab al-Mandab, Meyun Island, and the southern Red Sea to be cautious of rough seas and strong winds.
