Prime Minister Acknowledges Saudi Support for Yemen

Efforts to Aid the Yemeni People

Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, the Prime Minister of Yemen, praised the efforts of Saudi institutions in supporting the Yemeni people. He specifically highlighted the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. These organizations play a vital role in rebuilding infrastructure, improving services, and alleviating humanitarian suffering in Yemen.

Meeting with Saudi Program Director

During a meeting on Tuesday in the temporary capital of Aden, Prime Minister bin Mubarak welcomed Engineer Ahmed Madkhali, the Director of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen. He expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support for Yemen and its people, especially during challenging times. The Prime Minister emphasized the significant and impactful interventions made by the Saudi program, particularly in areas crucial to the daily lives of citizens.

Project Updates and Future Plans

Prime Minister bin Mubarak received an update from Madkhali regarding the progress of several key projects implemented by the Saudi program in Aden and other provinces. The discussion included future plans and potential sectors for collaboration with the Yemeni government.

The Prime Minister urged government ministries and agencies to address any challenges hindering project execution. He called for a collaborative approach with the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen to identify new areas for intervention.
