Prime Minister Dr. Sha’ban Mohsen Al-Zandani highly praised the supportive stance of the Arab Republic of Egypt towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the challenges and risks facing the region. He emphasized that this position embodies the unity of Arab national security and reinforces the fact that the security of Arab states is indivisible. He stated that solidarity and cooperation in confronting threats represent a shared Arab responsibility.
In a tweet on the platform X, the Prime Minister noted that the unity of the Arab position, particularly between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, serves as a strategic necessity for enhancing the security of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the entire region. He highlighted the importance of addressing threats that target the stability and interests of their peoples.
The Prime Minister pointed out that coordinating positions and integrating Arab efforts could strengthen support for initiatives aimed at ending the Houthi coup. He stressed the need to restore Yemeni state institutions and extend their authority over all territories. This, he argued, would help secure maritime passages, uphold national sovereignty, alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, and fulfill their aspirations for a safe and dignified life.
