This statement came during a meeting on Thursday with Tobias Tunkel, the Director General for the Middle East and North Africa at the German Foreign Office, and Janina Kopfmueller, the Chargé d’Affaires at the German Embassy in Yemen. The German officials conveyed their congratulations on bin Brek’s appointment as Prime Minister and expressed their wishes for his success in overcoming the current challenges.
