Prime Minister Welcomes Resilience of Citizens Under Houthi Control

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak expressed his admiration for the citizens living in areas still under the control of Houthi militias. These individuals continue to confront the militia’s violations and crimes with unwavering courage. They reject the militia’s oppressive agenda, regardless of the cost.

Commitment to Ending Suffering

During recent phone calls with governors from various provinces, including Abdulqawi Sharif of Sana’a, Hadi Tarshan of Saada, Abdulkarim Al-Sanini of Hajjah, Abdulwahab Al-Waeli of Ibb, and Ali Al-Qousi of Dhamar, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to enhance readiness for all options. He aims to alleviate the suffering caused by the Houthi militia since their coup against the legitimate government and the subsequent outbreak of war. His focus remains on restoring state authority and ending the coup.

Addressing Citizens’ Needs

Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak received updates from the governors regarding the conditions of citizens in Houthi-controlled areas. He discussed strategies to provide necessary legal protection for these individuals, expose the militia’s violations, and unify efforts to combat their regressive agenda, which is backed by Iran.

Ramadan Greetings and Humanitarian Efforts

The Prime Minister also exchanged greetings with the governors in light of the upcoming Ramadan holiday. He stressed the importance of enhancing efforts to alleviate the hardships faced by citizens across the nation.

Government Support for Local Authorities

Dr. bin Mubarak reaffirmed the government’s commitment to support the governors in Houthi-controlled regions. He encouraged them to maintain communication with their constituents and support their aspirations for freedom and the restoration of state institutions. He also highlighted the necessity of intensifying efforts to ease the burdens on Yemeni citizens, given the available resources.
