Army Foils Houthi Attack in Alab Axis

Major General Yasser Majli Reports Successful Defense

Major General Yasser Majli, commander of the Alab Axis and the 63rd Infantry Brigade, announced that army forces successfully thwarted a large-scale attack by Iranian-backed Houthi militias early this morning. The assault targeted military positions in the Alab front, located in northern Saada Governorate.

Intelligence and Counterattack Lead to Victory

In a statement to the Armed Forces Media Center, General Majli explained that reconnaissance units detected Houthi movements preparing for a surprise attack on army positions. Thanks to the vigilance of the army’s brave soldiers, they managed to repel the assault and launch a counterattack. This counteroffensive inflicted significant losses on the Houthi forces, forcing them to retreat.

Heavy Casualties for Houthi Forces

The clashes resulted in numerous casualties among enemy fighters, with many killed or wounded. General Majli noted that the bodies of Houthi fighters remain scattered across the valleys and ravines where the confrontation took place. Additionally, the army destroyed three military vehicles belonging to the militias.

Tribute to Fallen Soldiers

General Majli also confirmed that ten soldiers from the army lost their lives while fulfilling their national duty with honor and bravery. He emphasized that their pure blood would serve as a beacon of light, guiding the path to victory and the restoration of the state.

Commitment to Ongoing Defense

The general asserted that the Alab Axis will continue to serve as a graveyard for Houthi forces. He reaffirmed that the national army remains fully prepared to counter any infiltration or hostile attack, regardless of the sacrifices required.
