Dr. Waed Badhieb, Yemen’s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, met today with Walid Shumlan Al-Bahr, Acting Director General of the Kuwaiti Development Fund. During the 54th session of the Arab Economic Development Conference held in Kuwait, both parties reviewed essential projects and necessary procedures. They emphasized the importance of expediting invoicing processes, particularly for consultancy services, studies, and tender documentation. Additionally, they discussed oversight and monitoring of project implementation, specifically focusing on the Marib Power Plant and Al-Shahr Port projects. The conversation also touched on the completion of required documentation for a hospital project that has qualified for further study.

Acknowledging Kuwait’s Role in Development

Dr. Badhieb expressed gratitude for Kuwait’s significant contributions to Yemen’s development efforts.
