The Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemns escalating Israeli crimes and calls for the implementation of the second phase of the peace plan.

OIC Condemns Ongoing Israeli Violations in Palestine

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the continuous Israeli crimes and violations in the occupied Palestinian territories. This includes the targeting of health facilities, residential buildings, and shelters for displaced persons in Gaza, resulting in numerous civilian casualties. Such actions represent a blatant violation of international law and humanitarian principles.

Warning Against Settler Violence

The OIC has issued a warning regarding the escalating colonial settlement crimes and organized terrorism perpetrated by extremist settlers, often under the protection of occupying forces. This violence occurs throughout the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem. The organization emphasized the urgent need for decisive actions to halt these violations and hold the perpetrators accountable.

Call for Compliance with International Agreements

The General Secretariat reiterated the necessity of holding Israel, as the occupying power, accountable for implementing the ceasefire agreement. It urged the initiation of the second phase of the peace plan as outlined in UN Security Council Resolution 2803. This phase includes several critical actions:

  • Opening all border crossings
  • Ensuring unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid
  • Complete withdrawal of occupying forces
  • Affirming the unity of Palestinian territories
  • Empowering the Palestinian government to assume responsibilities across all occupied areas, including Gaza

The OIC’s statements reflect a growing concern over the humanitarian situation in Palestine and the need for immediate international intervention to protect civilians and uphold their rights.
