The Ministry of Interior has announced the commencement of salary disbursement for its personnel for March 2026. Starting Tuesday, employees can receive their salaries through the Al-Inma Islamic Microfinance Bank and its branches in liberated provinces. This initiative aims to ensure the continuous payment of salaries and facilitate the process for beneficiaries.
Brigadier General Osama Bahamish, the Director General of Financial Affairs at the ministry, explained that the disbursement process began with the salaries of the ministry’s headquarters staff and those whose payments have been credited to their accounts. The ministry has directly deposited salaries into employees’ accounts at the bank, ensuring timely access to funds.
Bahamish noted that the salaries for other security units will be disbursed gradually according to an approved schedule. All salaries will be deposited into beneficiaries’ accounts at the bank across various liberated regions. This step reflects the ministry’s commitment to providing ongoing support to its personnel.
Brigadier General Bahamish confirmed that the ministry’s leadership is diligently working to complete the salary payments for April and May 2026. The ministry aims for a consistent monthly disbursement process, which requires ongoing coordination with the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank. This collaboration has significantly expedited the March salary payments.
The ministry emphasized that only holders of the smart personal identification card will be eligible to collect their salaries. It urged those who have not yet received their cards to visit the General Administration of Financial Affairs to complete their data and obtain the necessary identification. These measures aim to streamline the disbursement process and ensure the rights of all personnel.
