A committee appointed by the Minister of Defense, led by Major General Al-Fadhli, Vice President of the Logistics Support Authority, recently visited Al-Basihib Military Hospital in the temporary capital of Aden. This visit aimed to assess the quality of medical services provided at the hospital and identify its needs.
The committee began its work by cataloging the hospital’s assets and human resources. It also evaluated the administrative and financial performance, along with operational mechanisms. The hospital’s Director General, Colonel Dr. Salem Al-Attas, and his deputy, Colonel Abdullah Al-Mangoo, participated in the discussions. They reviewed the workflow and the challenges the hospital faces.
Major General Al-Fadhli emphasized that the visit aligns with the directives from the Defense Ministry’s leadership. These directives focus on assessing performance and inventorying assets to prepare recommendations for enhancing medical services. This initiative is part of broader efforts to improve the military health sector and increase the efficiency of medical services for armed forces personnel.
In response, the management of Al-Basihib Hospital expressed its full readiness to cooperate with the committee. They also showed willingness to implement directives that contribute to the advancement of healthcare standards. This commitment reflects the hospital’s dedication to providing the best medical services to ensure the health and safety of armed forces members.
