New Park Opens in Aden: A Community Oasis

On Thursday, Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Wali, the Minister of Civil Service and Insurance, and Ahmed Lamlas, the Governor of Aden, inaugurated the “Aden Mall Park” in the Sirah district. This new park, covering an area of 28,000 square meters, was funded by the Aden Mall complex and aims to provide a fresh recreational space for the city’s residents.

Project Overview

During the opening ceremony, Governor Lamlas and Minister Al-Wali received a detailed presentation from businessman Rashad Hael Saeed about the park’s features. The project includes a variety of recreational and sports facilities. Notably, it features a children’s play area enclosed by a fence for safety, family seating areas, a seaside lounge, a sports walkway, and designated paths for pedestrians. Additionally, the park supports small business owners by providing space for vendors.

The park also boasts a dedicated sports area, which includes a five-a-side football pitch, two tennis courts, and a basketball court, along with small platforms designed to nurture local talent.

Enhancing Aden’s Infrastructure

Governor Lamlas praised the project, calling it a significant enhancement to Aden’s recreational infrastructure. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in beautifying and promoting tourism in the city. Lamlas encouraged local entrepreneurs to invest in similar projects that would support cultural, recreational, and tourism development. He also acknowledged the role of Hael Saeed Anam Group in executing service and development projects, noting that the park will offer free services to citizens, thereby increasing its community value.

Commitment to Sustainability

The governor stressed the need to maintain the park, urging the local authority in Sirah to provide necessary support to ensure its sustainability and optimal investment.
