The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center has issued a weather report for Friday, predicting a mix of sunny and partly cloudy conditions along coastal areas. The daytime will be hot, while nighttime temperatures will remain moderate. Scattered rain showers may occur in parts of the eastern and southern coasts, as well as the Socotra Archipelago. Winds will range from moderate to active along the eastern and southwestern coasts, with stronger gusts expected around Socotra.
In its daily weather bulletin, which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received, the center anticipates partly cloudy to cloudy weather in the mountainous regions. There is a possibility of varying intensity rain accompanied by thunderstorms in parts of the northwestern highlands, extending southward to Lahij. Additionally, rain may affect areas in the highlands and plateaus of Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramout. The desert and plateau regions will experience relatively dry and dusty conditions, with extreme heat during the day and moderate temperatures at night. Scattered rain may also fall in parts of the deserts of Shabwa, Hadramout, and Al-Mahra, with winds stirring up dust and sand.

The center warns residents in areas expecting rain to avoid valleys and flood-prone areas during thunderstorms. Citizens in desert and coastal regions should take precautions against rising temperatures and direct sunlight. The public is urged to follow necessary safety measures to protect themselves from heat exposure.
In its daily marine bulletin, the center forecasts calm seas along the western coasts, while the coasts of Abyan, Aden, and Bab al-Mandab will experience light to moderate waves. The coasts of Shabwa will see moderate waves, while the coasts of Al-Mahra and Hadramout may experience moderate to rough seas. The waters around the Socotra Archipelago will face rough to very rough conditions. Additionally, the center warns fishermen and sea-goers around Socotra and the eastern coasts about potential sea disturbances, high waves, and strong winds.
