Minister of Youth and Sports Leads Strategic Planning Meeting

On Sunday, Minister of Youth and Sports Naif Al-Bakri chaired a meeting with ministry deputies and public sector representatives. The discussion focused on developing plans for the next three months, emphasizing urgent priorities to be executed within the upcoming 100 days.

Setting Clear Objectives and Performance Indicators

Al-Bakri instructed sector deputies to create a comprehensive plan that outlines objectives, policies, and performance indicators. He stressed the importance of monitoring execution based on available resources and priorities. This approach aims to align with the government’s future direction while enhancing institutional work within the ministry.

Emphasizing Teamwork and Accountability

The minister highlighted the necessity of fostering a team spirit and maintaining attendance as key indicators of credibility and seriousness in task execution. He urged the inclusion of urgent and significant projects, programs, and activities in the plan, with a deadline for submission set at three days.

Addressing Challenges in Program Implementation

During the meeting, sector deputies discussed the major obstacles that hindered the execution of programs and plans in the past months of 2025. They presented key proposals for upcoming projects and activities that require immediate attention in the coming months.

Post-Eid Al-Adha Inspection of Work Discipline

In a separate initiative, Minister Al-Bakri assessed the level of work discipline across various sectors and departments within the Ministry of Youth and Sports following the Eid Al-Adha holiday.

Commending Commitment and Performance

The minister praised the commitment and productivity observed in the offices. He reiterated the importance of teamwork and enhancing performance, which positively impacts the ministry’s overall activities as the overseeing body for all sports federations and clubs across the country.

Completing Office Renovations and Enhancing Work Environment

Al-Bakri directed relevant authorities to finalize the remaining renovations in the ministry’s headquarters. He also emphasized the need to complete office furnishings and create a conducive environment for all employees, fostering positive conditions for work and creativity.
