Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, held a virtual meeting with Mohamed Baraka, the OECD project manager for enhancing economic resilience in Yemen, and policy analyst Seema Farah. The discussion centered on strengthening collaboration in water resource management and adapting to climate change.

These challenges stem from limited water resources, the increasing impacts of climate change, and recurring droughts. The minister outlined the ministry’s commitment to adopting sustainable solutions for improving water resource management. In response, the OECD representative welcomed the collaboration with the Ministry of Water and Environment.
