On Saturday, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, inaugurated the Greater Aden Park project in the Khormaksar district. This launch coincides with the 61st anniversary of the October 14 Revolution, marking a significant moment for the city.
The inauguration ceremony attracted several local officials, including Khormaksar District Director Awes Al-Zuhri, Executive Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund Qaid Rashid, and Director of Public Works and Roads Walid Al-Sarari. During the event, Lamlas emphasized the local authority’s commitment to supporting investment projects that aim to provide recreational spaces and parks for the residents of Aden.
The Greater Aden Park project, managed by the Al-Bayraq Investment Group, forms part of a comprehensive vision to enhance the urban environment in Aden. This initiative seeks to create suitable recreational areas for families, children, and youth, ultimately improving the quality of life and beautifying the city.
The park will feature extensive green areas, pedestrian pathways, and various sports and recreational facilities. These elements will transform the park into a vital space that caters to both residents and visitors, fulfilling their needs for relaxation and leisure.
This new development represents a significant step toward creating a more vibrant and livable Aden, reinforcing the city’s commitment to enhancing public spaces and community well-being.
