On Sunday, Ahmed Lamlas, the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, recognized outstanding workers from the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund. This event celebrated their contributions to maintaining the city’s cleanliness and beauty in honor of Labor Day.
During the ceremony, attended by local council secretary Badr Maeen and Khormaksar District Director Awad Al-Zuhri, Governor Lamlas praised the vital role sanitation workers play in enhancing the environment and safeguarding public health. He emphasized that maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of Aden is a shared responsibility. Supporting these workers is not only a national duty but also a moral and humanitarian obligation.
Engineer Qaid Rashid, the Executive Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, expressed gratitude to the governor for this generous gesture. He noted that this recognition serves as a significant motivation for all workers to continue their dedication and hard work, even amid challenging circumstances.
