Today, Minister of Public Works and Roads, Engineer Hussein Al-Aqrobi, directed ministry offices across various liberated provinces, along with the Road Maintenance Fund and the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, to enhance their preparedness for the anticipated rainfall affecting several areas.

These directives follow the close monitoring by Prime Minister Dr. Sha’if Al-Zandani, reflecting the government’s commitment to mitigate damage from weather fluctuations and improve field response efforts.

Emergency Preparedness and Infrastructure Maintenance

Al-Aqrobi emphasized the importance of implementing all necessary precautionary measures to address the impacts of rain and flooding. This includes intensifying emergency maintenance work, clearing drainage systems, and addressing any damage to infrastructure.
