Minister of Justice Discusses Judicial Cooperation with French Ambassador

On Monday, Minister of Justice Judge Badr Al-Aradah met with Catherine Gramegon, the French Ambassador to Yemen, along with her accompanying delegation. The two parties explored opportunities for enhanced collaboration in the judicial sector.

Enhancing Judicial Efficiency

During the meeting, they discussed strategies to implement joint initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of the judicial system. These efforts seek to foster a better environment for justice and reinforce the rule of law in Yemen.

Key Initiatives and Partnerships

The Minister highlighted various programs currently underway within the Ministry of Justice. These programs focus on building the capacities of judicial and administrative personnel, alongside infrastructure projects designed to enhance the judicial system’s effectiveness. Al-Aradah emphasized the importance of partnering with France to support these initiatives. He reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to improving both judicial and administrative performance in response to contemporary challenges.

Continued Support from France

In response, Ambassador Gramegon reiterated France’s commitment to supporting the Ministry of Justice’s projects. She expressed readiness to provide assistance in capacity building, which will contribute to the development of the judiciary and the realization of justice. The ambassador also underscored France’s dedication to ongoing coordination to strengthen partnerships that promote stability in Yemen.

This meeting marks a significant step toward fostering international cooperation in Yemen’s judicial sector, highlighting the mutual interest in enhancing legal frameworks and promoting justice.
