In a meeting held today in the temporary capital of Aden, Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism Muammar Al-Eryani discussed upcoming tourism preparations with Socotra Governor’s Deputy Saleh Saad.

During the meeting, Al-Eryani conveyed greetings from President Rashad Al-Alimi and fellow members of the Presidential Leadership Council, as well as Prime Minister Salem Bin Brek. He emphasized their support for activities that promote tourism in the archipelago.

Al-Eryani praised the success of the cleanliness campaign launched last year in collaboration with local authorities. This initiative focused on cleaning the northern and western shores of the island. He stressed the importance of ongoing awareness efforts, aiming to instill concepts of cleanliness and environmental health in every household.
