Acknowledging Excellence in Healthcare Services
During the visit, Al-Eryani praised the center’s role in providing essential dialysis services to patients suffering from acute and chronic kidney failure. The center operates daily using advanced and modern equipment that meets the latest health standards. Additionally, it offers specialized healthcare for kidney failure patients, ensuring they receive the necessary support.
Gratitude for Saudi Support
Al-Eryani expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, led by Ambassador Mohammed Al-Jaber. The center features 20 dialysis chairs and includes separate sections for men and women, along with an isolation room. Al-Eryani highlighted the program’s impactful projects in education and healthcare, emphasizing their importance in community development in Al-Mahrah and beyond.

He affirmed that these sincere efforts, manifested through health, developmental, and humanitarian projects, exemplify Arab and Islamic solidarity, bolstering the resilience of the Yemeni population during challenging times.
Commitment to Sustainable Development
The minister emphasized that establishing health centers like the dialysis facility and eight new schools, including Al-Dhahria Secondary School for Girls, reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to alleviating the suffering of Yemenis. These initiatives enhance the capabilities of the local population and instill hope for a brighter future.
A Visit to Al-Dhahria Secondary School for Girls
Following the visit to the dialysis center, Al-Eryani and Governor Yasser toured Al-Dhahria Secondary School for Girls, another project initiated by the Saudi program. He commended the establishment of model classrooms to enhance student skills and improve the quality of education. The minister urged the school administration and the local education office to continue their efforts in advancing educational processes, emphasizing the school’s role as a model for community education and development.
Investment in Education
Al-Dhahria Secondary School for Girls is one of eight schools built by the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in Al-Mahrah, with a total investment of $5.55 million. The schools feature 12 classrooms, equipped chemistry and computer labs, and dual-purpose sports facilities.
