Minister Emphasizes Educational Reform and Commitment to Plans

Focus on Performance Improvement

Education Minister Tarek Al-Akbari stressed the importance of implementing effective solutions to enhance performance in the educational sector. He called for adherence to plans that align with the upcoming phase’s requirements and actual needs.

Meeting in Aden

During a comprehensive meeting held today in the temporary capital of Aden, Al-Akbari led discussions with ministry officials, including the ministry’s deputies. He reiterated the necessity of following the directives from Prime Minister Salem bin Brek, particularly regarding the development of a priority matrix for the next 100 days.

Call for Discipline and Collaboration

Al-Akbari highlighted that the current phase demands greater discipline in executing educational plans. Continuous monitoring of the educational process is essential. He urged all staff across various provinces to unite their efforts to ensure effective implementation.

Coordination Across Sectors

The minister emphasized the need for collaborative work with different sectors to establish a government priority matrix for the upcoming 100 days. He pointed out the importance of overcoming challenges and intensifying efforts in the near future. Working as a cohesive team is vital for securing stability and continuity in the educational process.

The meeting also reviewed several agenda items, including the completion of the General Secondary Certificate examinations for the 2024-2025 academic year. Participants discussed preparations for the upcoming school year and the status of educational projects. Additionally, they explored proposals and solutions to address the challenges facing educational sectors and institutions.

This proactive approach aims to ensure a robust educational framework that meets the needs of students and educators alike.
