Makkah Meeting Focuses on Hajj Preparations
Dr. Mohammed Shabeeb, the Minister of Awqaf and Guidance and head of the Yemeni Hajj Affairs Office, stressed the importance of dedicating all efforts to serve pilgrims and facilitate their religious practices. His remarks came during a meeting of the Supreme Hajj Committee for the 1446 AH season, held at the Yemeni Hajj Affairs Office in Makkah.

The meeting included significant figures such as Dr. Abdullah Dahan, Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population, and Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rabash, Undersecretary of the Hajj and Umrah Sector at the Ministry of Awqaf. Participants reviewed the medical committee’s progress in finalizing arrangements for additional medical clinic locations. This coordination involved a contracted company that adheres to the requirements set by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Minister Shabeeb emphasized that the Ministry of Awqaf will not tolerate any shortcomings in fulfilling this vital religious and national duty. He pledged to hold accountable anyone who disrupts the Hajj process or fails to serve the pilgrims effectively. He reiterated the government’s and ministry’s commitment to ensuring the comfort and safety of all pilgrims, facilitating their religious practices.

The minister urged for enhanced coordination and partnership with the private sector and relevant organizations to provide the best services for pilgrims. He expressed confidence in the success and distinctiveness of this Hajj season, aligning with the ministry’s planned initiatives.
