Dr. Mohammed Shabeeb, Yemen’s Minister of Awqaf and Guidance, announced today that 24,255 Yemeni pilgrims successfully completed their Hajj rituals for the year 1446 AH. The announcement came during a comprehensive meeting with field committees involved in the Hajj season, attended by Deputy Minister Anwar Al-Amri, Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rabash, the ministry’s Undersecretary for Hajj and Umrah, and several ministry leaders and members of the Yemeni delegation.

Acknowledging Team Efforts and Coordination

During the meeting, Minister Shabeeb emphasized that this success resulted from the diligent efforts and meticulous planning of the Ministry of Awqaf staff. Their dedication spanned from the registration phase to the conclusion of the Hajj rituals. The ministry coordinated closely with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and relevant authorities to ensure a smooth experience for all pilgrims.

Commitment to Regulations and Standards

The Minister praised the pilgrims for adhering to the regulations set forth by the Ministry of Awqaf and the Saudi authorities. He noted that the ministry, under the direct supervision of the political leadership represented by President Rashad Al-Alimi and the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, closely monitored every stage of the Hajj process. This included registration, transportation, field supervision, and the careful selection of tents in Mina, ensuring they were near the Jamaraat. The ministry also prioritized health and guidance services, employing specialized staff and partners to meet high standards and ensure the comfort and safety of the pilgrims.

Looking Ahead: Continuous Improvement

In closing, Minister Shabeeb urged all involved to maintain this high level of performance and to intensify efforts in preparation for the upcoming phases of the Hajj season. He stressed the importance of upholding the dignity of Yemeni pilgrims and reflecting the honorable image of the Yemeni delegation in the holy lands.

Feedback for Future Enhancements
