The Meteorological Center and Early Warning Agency expect mild and partly cloudy weather to continue in coastal areas and nearby regions. There is a possibility of thunderstorms in the Socotra Archipelago, along with light to moderate rain in parts of the southern and western coasts. Winds will strengthen along the western and southwestern coasts and in the Bab al-Mandab area.
The center indicated that thunderstorms might occur in scattered areas of the highlands and western and southwestern slopes, extending to parts of Lahij Governorate. Additionally, sporadic rain is likely in the governorates of Hadramaut, Shabwa, and Abyan.
The center urged residents in areas prone to rain to avoid riverbeds and valleys and to exercise caution during thunderstorms. It also warned of reduced visibility due to fog in the southern and western highlands.
The center reiterated its warnings to sea-goers and fishermen along the eastern and western coasts, as well as in the Bab al-Mandab and around the Socotra Archipelago, regarding rough seas and strong winds.
