The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continues its vital work in the Al-Khokha district of Al-Hudaydah Governorate. This initiative focuses on enhancing water supply and environmental sanitation for local communities.
In January 2026, the center successfully delivered 4,774,000 liters of water suitable for household use. Additionally, it provided 974,000 liters of potable water. These efforts significantly improved access to clean water for residents in the area.
The project also included the removal of waste from displaced persons’ camps. The team executed 815 waste removal trips, ensuring a cleaner environment for vulnerable populations. Furthermore, the center drained over 93 cubic meters of wastewater and maintained 16 temporary toilets to support hygiene needs.
To ensure the safety of the water supply, the center conducted one water quality test. These comprehensive services benefited 16,170 individuals, highlighting the project’s impact on community health and well-being.
