Today, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, the Minister of Interior, participated in the inaugural session of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Internal Security and Safety. This event took place in Doha as part of the global exhibition for internal security and safety, known as “Milipol Qatar.”
The opening session featured a keynote address by Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Thani, the Qatari Minister of State for Internal Affairs. During this session, six papers were presented, focusing on future recommendations for the use of artificial intelligence. Topics included leading innovations in entrepreneurship, the detection of weapons using AI-integrated drones, advancements in cybersecurity through AI, computer vision for image feedback, and the secure future of quantum technology.
The conference also welcomed Major General Mohammed Al Shabaan, the head of the Civil Defense Authority, highlighting the event’s significance in the realm of security and safety.
This conference marks a critical step towards integrating advanced technologies in security operations, paving the way for a safer future.
