Saudi Arabia Hosts Second Human Capital Initiative Conference

The King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, launched the second edition of the Human Capital Initiative (HCI) conference today, Sunday. This year’s theme is “Beyond Future Preparedness.”

Global Participation and Key Events

The conference attracts over 300 leaders, policymakers, and global experts from academia, the private sector, and non-profit organizations. Participants represent 38 countries, highlighting the event’s international significance. Notable activities include a ministerial roundtable featuring 20 ministers from various nations and a meeting of the UNESCO Executive Board. Additionally, the conference will host several agreements and initiatives aimed at enhancing human capital development both locally and globally.

Engaging Discussions and Future Trends

Throughout the conference, attendees will engage in more than 100 discussion sessions across four main platforms. These sessions aim to share experiences and explore best practices that enhance human capital readiness in response to rapid global changes. Participants will also examine future trends, focusing on innovative models that empower individuals and communities. The conference emphasizes collaboration among public, private, and non-profit sectors to develop sustainable solutions with a meaningful impact on the future.

Commitment to Global Dialogue

Youssef Al-Bunyan, the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Human Capital Development Program, expressed that this second edition of the conference builds on the successes of the first. He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s leadership role in contributing to global discussions on the future of human capital development.

This conference not only showcases Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing human capital initiatives but also serves as a platform for fostering international collaboration and innovation in this critical area.
