On Wednesday, Major General Saqr Hamoud bin Aziz, the Chief of General Staff, inaugurated the second phase of the 2025 training and combat preparation program. This phase specifically targets the Training and Rehabilitation Authority, along with its affiliated units and centers.
During the event, Major General bin Aziz praised the efforts to enhance the capabilities of the armed forces. He emphasized that the results of the training have positively impacted combat performance. Furthermore, he urged the continuation of specialized courses that align with the demands of the ongoing battle against the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
The Chief of General Staff reviewed the training plans and educational program models. He also listened to presentations on advanced weaponry and drone technology. The launch event attracted several military leaders and directors of educational institutions associated with the Training and Rehabilitation Authority.
This initiative marks a significant step in strengthening the military’s readiness and effectiveness in addressing current challenges.
