The Higher Hajj Committee convened today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital of Aden. The meeting, led by Minister of Awqaf and Guidance Dr. Mohammed Shabeeb, focused on early preparations for the upcoming Hajj season of 1447 AH.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the timeline approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia. The committee emphasized the importance of adhering to this timeline throughout all organizational, administrative, and technical phases. Strict compliance will ensure that tasks are completed according to the specified deadlines.
The committee also discussed the experiences from the 1446 AH Hajj season. They agreed to form a specialized committee to evaluate performance. This committee will prepare a detailed report to be presented at the next meeting of the Higher Committee. The goal is to enhance positive aspects while addressing any shortcomings.
In terms of implementation, the committee urged accredited facilities to expedite their preparations. They stressed the importance of utilizing the available time before the deadline to ensure compliance with organizational guidelines. This approach aims to facilitate efficient early arrangements.
Minister Shabeeb highlighted the necessity of taking advantage of the current period for early planning and coordination with relevant authorities. This proactive approach will help provide better services for Yemeni pilgrims and enhance the quality of institutional work, ultimately reflecting a positive image of the Yemeni Hajj mission.
