The head of the Judicial Inspection Authority continues visits to Taiz courts and public prosecutions, inspecting the central prison.

Chief Justice Inspector Visits Military Courts in Taiz

Today, Chief Justice Inspector Judge Nazem Baawzir conducted a visit to the Primary Military Court and the Public Funds Appeal Prosecution in Taiz, as well as the judicial complex housing the courts of Sabir, West Taiz, Maqbana, Mawza, Al-Wazi’ah, and Shar’ab. This visit aims to enhance oversight of the judiciary in the Taiz Governorate.

Enhancing Judicial Oversight

Judge Baawzir, accompanied by his deputies, Judge Hassan Shaibani and Judge Nabil Hael, continues to monitor the performance of the courts and prosecutions in Taiz. The inspection focuses on evaluating the efficiency of judicial operations and ensuring that human rights are respected while justice is served. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Judicial Inspection Authority to uphold the rule of law in the region.

Addressing Prison Conditions

During his visit, Judge Baawzir also toured the Central Prison in Taiz, where he assessed the conditions of 1,019 inmates. He listened to their grievances regarding their detention periods and emphasized the need for public prosecution heads to expedite the resolution of pending cases. This effort aims to alleviate the suffering of inmates and promote justice within the correctional system.

The ongoing visits by Judge Baawzir and his team underscore the importance of judicial accountability and the protection of human rights in Taiz.
