Governor of Taiz Discusses Fuel Supply Issues

Today, Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, convened a meeting to address the fuel supply situation in the province. The discussion focused on the challenges surrounding petroleum derivatives and their distribution.

Meeting Highlights

The meeting included key participants such as Khaled Abdul Jalil, the Deputy Governor for Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Najib Al-Yousifi, a representative from the Oil Stations Union. During the session, Governor Shamsan received a report from a committee tasked with evaluating the branch operations of the oil company and the various fuel stations. This report highlighted the ongoing issues affecting the fuel supply chain.

Detailed Reports on Fuel Conditions

Ali Al-Mamari, the General Director of the Oil Company branch in Taiz, provided a comprehensive overview of the current fuel supply conditions and pricing, particularly in light of the declining currency value. He also discussed the inspection and monitoring measures being implemented at fuel stations to ensure compliance.

Emphasis on Regulation and Compliance

Governor Shamsan stressed the importance of addressing the illegal sale and proliferation of unlicensed fuel stations. He called for strict legal actions against violators to protect consumers and maintain order in the fuel distribution system.

The governor praised the efforts of the Oil Company branch and the Oil Stations Union for their cooperation in managing the situation.
