Today, Governor Nabil Shamsan convened a comprehensive meeting in the city of Al-Mokha to evaluate administrative performance, achievements, and challenges facing the coastal districts.
The meeting included district directors from Al-Mokha, Dhubab, Mawza, and Al-Wazi’iya, as well as Dr. Abdul Malik Al-Sharabi, the director of Al-Mokha Port, and Brigadier General Mujahid Al-Hazourah, the coastal security sector leader. Governor Shamsan listened attentively to detailed reports from the district directors, who outlined the current state of operations and the accomplishments achieved thus far.
Governor Shamsan stressed the importance of continuous coordination and regular reporting to ensure the sustainability of operations and the attainment of objectives. He praised the efforts of district directors in enhancing administrative and service performance. Their proactive engagement in planning and project implementation has been commendable. The governor reaffirmed the local authority’s commitment to supporting the districts and addressing the challenges they face.
Governor Shamsan expressed gratitude for the substantial support provided by Presidential Leadership Council member Brigadier General Tariq Saleh to the coastal districts and the city of Taiz. This support includes the execution of various developmental and service projects, such as road construction and expansion, educational complexes, water projects, hospitals, an airport, port deepening, and solar-powered electricity stations. He also extended his thanks to the United Arab Emirates for their generous and effective contributions to the province’s development.
The meeting underscored the collaborative efforts necessary for improving administrative efficiency and service delivery in Taiz. With ongoing support and commitment, the local government aims to overcome existing challenges and foster sustainable development in the region.
