The local authority in Rima Governorate convened an extensive meeting today, led by Governor Muhammad Al-Houri, to discuss the progress of public mobilization committees and strategies to enhance coordination between official and community efforts in support of the armed forces during Operation (Fajr Yemen).
Review of Committees’ Progress
The meeting reviewed reports from the committees and their achievements over the past few days since the governorate’s leadership declared a state of public mobilization. Participants discussed the allocation of responsibilities and roles among various entities to ensure the successful attainment of goals in mobilization and national call-up efforts. They aimed to persuade individuals involved with the Iran-backed Houthi militia to take advantage of the general amnesty and return safely. Additionally, the meeting focused on strengthening the local community’s role in protecting its members from joining the militia and rejecting recruitment efforts targeting children and youth.
Emphasis on Unified Efforts
Governor Al-Houri stressed the importance of unifying efforts and activating the roles of local, security, media, and resistance leaders in executing their assigned tasks. He emphasized the need to assume national and historical responsibilities and to work according to a clear mechanism that ensures the integration of official and community efforts. Governor Al-Houri praised the sacrifices made by the people of Rima, alongside those from other governorates, on various fronts in defense of the revolution and the republic.
