Al-Mahra, Yemen – Today, Governor Mohammed Ali Yasser convened an extraordinary meeting of the security committee in Al-Mahra to address the current security situation in the province. The meeting focused on recent developments and reviewed field reports from military and security leaders. Additionally, the committee discussed measures to maintain security and stability in the region.
During the meeting, Governor Yasser emphasized the importance of enhancing readiness among security forces. He highlighted the need to be prepared to counter any threats to the province’s security and stability. “Security is a red line that we cannot compromise,” he stated firmly. The meeting included key figures such as Local Council Secretary-General Salem Nimer, First Deputy Colonel Dr. Mukhtar bin Oid, and Deputy Governor Zain Al-Abidin bin Khudum, along with leaders from military and security units.
The committee also addressed the issue of random checkpoints along the international road. Members underscored the urgent need to remove these checkpoints, as they hinder traffic flow and negatively impact security. The committee’s proactive approach aims to ensure safer travel and maintain public order.
The meeting reflects the commitment of Al-Mahra’s leadership to uphold security and stability in the province. By prioritizing readiness and addressing road safety, the security committee aims to foster a secure environment for all residents.
