Today, Dr. Shai’a Al-Zandani, Yemen’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, met with Fuad Hussein, Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. This meeting aimed to enhance the fraternal relations between the two nations and explore mutual interests.
Focus on Cooperation
During their discussions, both leaders emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts to support Arab solidarity. They also addressed preparations for the upcoming Arab Summit, scheduled to take place in Baghdad. Dr. Al-Zandani expressed Yemen’s commitment to achieving comprehensive Arab consensus to tackle current challenges. He believes that such unity will contribute to the success of the summit and promote stability and development in the region.
Iraq’s Support for Yemen
In response, Minister Fuad Hussein highlighted the deep-rooted bilateral relations between Yemen and Iraq. He reaffirmed Iraq’s support for Yemen’s unity, stability, and security.
