Military Region Hosts Ramadan Iftar and Evening Gathering in Sayun

The First Military Region in Sayun, Hadhramaut Governorate, organized a Ramadan Iftar and evening gathering attended by judges, members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, military and security leaders, ministry officials, political party heads, social components, and local dignitaries.

Local Authority Emphasizes Stability and Development

Amir Al-Amri, the Deputy Governor of Hadhramaut for the Valley and Desert Districts and head of the security committee, highlighted the local authority’s commitment to supporting stability and development since assuming its responsibilities. He stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination among military, security, and local authorities to achieve lasting security and stability in the region.

Al-Amri praised the role of security agencies in maintaining peace and stability, which has helped preserve the achievements and development projects accomplished in recent years. He noted that the current security stability in the governorate has been a key factor in the success of numerous developmental and service projects. He reaffirmed the local authority’s ongoing support for these agencies to ensure continued security and stability.

Strong Ties Between Military Leadership and Local Community

Brigadier General Saleh Al-Jaimlani, commander of the First Military Region and the 37th Armored Brigade, commended the strong relationship between the military leadership and the residents of the Hadhramaut Valley. He emphasized that this relationship is deeply rooted in mutual trust and cooperation.

Al-Jaimlani expressed his deep appreciation for the support from the local authority in the governorate, the valley, and the desert, as well as from all community and political components in efforts to establish security and stability in the valley and desert districts. He noted that collaborative efforts among various entities form the foundation for achieving security and stability, stressing the need to continue these efforts to protect national achievements.

Celebrating Ramadan and Strengthening Community Bonds

During the evening gathering, attendees exchanged greetings in celebration of the last ten days of Ramadan. They underscored the significance of such meetings in fostering a spirit of unity and cooperation among all political and social components.

Participants acknowledged that gatherings like this play a crucial role in enhancing security and stability in the valley and desert districts. They contribute to integrating security and social efforts, ensuring the safety of citizens and the stability of the region.
